Checking logs on your Linux Server
From Amen Wiki
Trouble shooting often requires the reviewing of log files.
If you are familiar with SSH Command line access to your server then here are some common log file locations to start you off in the right direction.
/var/log/ and its subdirectories.
/usr/local/psa/var/log/

However Amenworld would always recommend obtaining multiple sources of reference for issues you may be researching, before making changes. Please be aware that Amenworld is not responsible for the content of external internet sites and that you as the Server Administrator are responsible for managing the well-being of both the operating system and the services running on it, so any modifications to the operating system or settings could, if not carefully thought out, render your server inaccessible or unusable. In a worst case scenario you may need to reinstall the server from scratch resulting in the loss of all data stored on the server.
