[edit] Introduction
The HOSTING section will allow you to manage your hosting space and use a number of tools that will help you create your website. Before you do anything with your hosting space, though, you will have to activate it:

When you click on
the creation process will start:

A few hours later, it will be activated:

[edit] Information
This section will show you some basic information on your hosting:

First you will see the name of the hosting server and its IP address. In the case of static hosting, the web and FTP servers have different IP addresses. This means that the DNS FTP record will point to one of them (62.193.202.9) and WWW will point to the other (62.193.202.6). It will not, however, affect the way your website works.
Used web space will show you the amount of space you are using out of the total space on your hosting server:
- For a Web Name + package the total will be 1024MB (1GB)
- For a Web Mail + package the total will be 2048MB (2GB)
[edit] Configuration
In order to have an easier access to your FTP login and password, they appear in this section:

- FTP Server (host/address): name and IP address of the server you should connect to to access your FTP account and upload your files
- FTP admin account: User and Password to manage your hosting associated to your domain
- Path to the root directory of your site: folder in your FTP server where you must upload your files to for them to be available on your website.
For example: If I have a Web Name + for a domain called domain.co.uk and I want to upload an image that should be available at http://www.domain.co.uk/images/image.jpg, I will need to do the following:
- Connect to ftp.domain.co.uk with the correct login and password using an FTP application
- Open the web folder on the server
- Create the images folder on the server (we would create /web/images)
- Upload the image.jpg file to the /web/images folder
