How do I modify the default FTP password?

Control Panel: Hosting.jpg HOSTING > CP_hosting_ico_ftp.gif FTP settings

The instructions below will only allow you to modify the password for the default FTP user (the one that was created by the system when your pack was created).

To change the password for a user you have created:

From your Customer Area:

  1. Click on CP_GENERAL_Renew_01_EN.jpg
  2. Click on the pack you want to work with:

  3. Click on Hosting.jpg HOSTING:

  4. In the Direct Access section, click on CP_hosting_ico_ftp.gif FTP settings
  5. Just enter the password in both text fields and click on Cp_button_modify_gray_en.png

  • The password must contain at least a lower case and an upper case letter, a number and one of the following special characters: '@' or '_' or '-'.
  • The password must be at least 5 and at most 10 characters long.
