How do I set up my account in Entourage 2004 for Mac?

Welcome to the Entourage 2004 for Mac e-mail set up tutorial. Here is a step by step guide to setting up your Amenworld POP email account.

1. Open Entourage.
2. Click on Tools and then click on Accounts.
3 A pop up window named Accounts will be presented. Select the Mail tab if not selected already and click New.

4. You will then be presented with the window shown below named New Accounts. Select POP as the account type and click next.

5. You will now be presented with a window named Edit Account. Enter your e-mail information here. If you are not sure what this is, you can find this information within your customer area.
The incoming mail server and the outgoing SMTP server should be filled in as pop.domain.co.uk and smtp.domain.co.uk respectively. Please note domain.co.uk needs to be replaced by your domain name.

6. Click on Click here for advanced sending options located below SMTP server. This will provide you with another window. Tick the box for SMTP requires authentication and select the option named Use same settings as receiving mail server and then close this window. This should take you back to Edit account window; click ok and then close the Accounts window. You should now be able to send and receive email using your Entourage email client
