How do I set up my account in Mac Mail?

Welcome to the Mac Mail version 1 e-mail set up tutorial. Here is a step by step guide to setting up your Amenworld POP email account.

1. Open Mac Mail.
2. Click on Mail across the top and then click on Preferences.
3. Click on Add account.

4. You will now be presented with the window shown below. Click on Account information and select POP as the Account Type.
Enter your e-mail information here. If you are not sure what they are, this information can be found within your customer area.
The incoming mail server and the outgoing SMTP server should be filled in as pop.domain.co.uk and smtp.domain.co.uk respectively. Please note domain.co.uk needs to be replaced by your domain name.

5. Click on Options and this will bring up a window named SMTP Server Options.
Set Authentication to password and type your e-mail address in the username box and your password and then click ok. Click ok again for the Account information window as well and then close the Accounts window. You should now be able to "Get Mail" using your Mac Mail email client
