Instructions for entering and exiting recovery mode

[edit] To enter Recovery Mode

You will first of all need to visit your Customer Area within http://client.amenworld.com

On the right hand side you'll see a list of tools...

Click on 'Repair your server'

It will ask you to generate a password for using the Recovery Mode server CP_dedicated_servers_recovery_01_EN.JPG


Once you have entered it press CP_BUTTON_recovery_mode_EN.png

[edit] To exit Recovery Mode

In order to exit Recovery Mode, return to http://client.amenworld.com where on the right hand side you'll see a list of tools...

Click on 'Repair your server'

Then click Normal mode

You will then need to select Re-boot from the tools menu

Followed by selecting Hardware Reboot radio button CP_dedicated_servers_recovery_05_EN.JPG


Press reboot CP_BUTTON_reboot_EN.png


It will ask you to confirm that you wish to reboot

The warning it speaks of is located on the top left of the web page and reads:

WARNING : The hardware reboot shouldn't be used unless standard reboot is unsuccessful. 
This type of reboot actually restarts the system by unplugging the server cable and
plugging it in back on again. This 'violent' action might cause damage to the hard disk
(though risk is limited).
