Local copy

When we refer to a 'local copy' of data or settings we mean a copy held locally by you (Not server-side).

In more detail, we advise you always to make and keep a local copy of ANY data that you or your organisation might consider to be important, we strongly suggest you do this as a matter of routine for:

  1. Your own peace of mind
  2. In the unlikely event of a server-side problem
  3. A mistaken change you might make to files we host for you online that you need to revert back to a previous version of
  4. An account issue of some description.

It may seem strange that we have taken the time to state such a basic concept here, but you would then probably also be suprised to hear of how many individuals who do not have a copy of their website for example.
