Modify WHOIS details

Control Panel: DOMAIN > Modify WHOIS details

These procedures only apply to .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .eu and .be  domains

[edit] Introduction

This set of tools allow you to change the details of both the owner and the admin contact of the domain. By default, when a domain is registered with us, the owner and the admin contact will be created from the contact details you provide. Using these tools you will be able to modify that information or create a different admin contact:

[edit] Owner / Administrative contact

If you want to change the details of the owner / admin contact of your domain follow these steps:

Click on >> Modify:
Make the necessary changes in the form that you will get:
Click on >> Save
If the process is correctly completed, the whois will be modified in approximately 20 minutes.

Please note that you will NOT be able to modify the type or name of the domain owner. If you want to change the name of the owner, then you probably want to change the owner of the domain:

Click here if you want to change the owner of your domain.

[edit] Administrative contact

You can create an admin contact for your domain that is different from your account details. In order to do so, follow these steps:

Click on >> Create:
Fill in the form with the details you want for the admin contact:
Click on >> Save
If the process is correctly completed, the whois will be modified in approximately 20 minutes.
