This procedure only applies to .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domains


[edit] Introduction

In this section you will be able to change the owner of your domain. When you change the owner of the domain, you will be modifying the customer account to which the domain package is associated. Hence, you are given the option to use an existing customer account as the receipt of the domain or to enter new details.

The screen looks like this:

As you can see on the screenshot above, you will have 2 different sections depending on whether you want to make a new or existing customer account the new owner of the domain.

[edit] Existing customer account

Follow these steps if the new owner already has a customer account in AMEN:

  1. Enter the Customer Area login and password of the account that will become the owner of the domain:

  2. Click on >> Save
  3. You will get the confirmation screen:

  4. Click on >> Save
  5. The request will be recorded and the change request will be sent to Network Solutions. The pack will be moved to the new Customer Area.

[edit] New customer account

Follow these steps if the new owner does not have a customer account in AMEN:

  1. Fill in the details in the New customer account form:

  2. Click on >> Save
  3. You will get the confirmation screen:

  4. Click on >> Save
  5. The request will be recorded and the change request will be sent to Network Solutions. The pack will be moved to the new Customer Area.
