[edit] Domain

The Web Pro + includes the domain and allows you to create as many subdomains as you may want to use. This is part of the services that you will be able to use when you use our own DNS servers and tools to manage the DNS zone for your domain.

[edit] Hosting

Web hosting space is a private part of the server that has been assigned to your pack and will allow you to upload and store the files and folders that form your web site. These files will be available to all Internet users but only you will be able to access and manage the contents of the site.

The Web Pro + pack includes 25GB of dynamic hosting. This means that you will be able to develop or install applications that use such tools as PHP or MySQL databases.

The Web Pro + package allows you to use the following programming languages:

You will also be able to enable SSI extensions in order to get advanced functionalities from the server with your .shtml files.

[edit] Databases

You can use your databases to store data or create interactive applications with the programming languages available. Blogs, forums, ... and most of other web applications use databases, so if you want to develop your own application or install one of the numerous available OpenSource ones online, you will need databases.

You can create up to 10 MySQL databases with MySQL version 4.1 or 5.0 (you will be able to choose the version when you create each one of them).

To make things easier, each database comes with its own phpMyAdmin control panel that will allow you to create, backup, load or modify your databases.

[edit] Website Creator

Website Creator is an online tool that will allow you to create your own website. The WYSIWYG capabilities of this GUI will allow you to build a presentable looking website without the need to learn everything related to html coding, formatting nor the more complex programming. Not only that, but you will also be able to use advanced functionality like flash animated introductions, a contact form or the modification of meta-tags for search engines if you wish.

The Web Pro + package includes the 2-page version of this tool, meaning that you will be able to create a site with 2 pages in it. You can upgrade the Website Creator at any point to the 7-page or unlimited version. The unlimited version will allow you to choose from more templates, while allowing you to create as many pages as you may need.

[edit] Add-Ons

Add-ons are OpenSource applications that you can install from your Customer Area. These ready to use tools which include popular website features like image galleries, forums or FAQ managers.

By default, the Web Pro + package allows you to install 5 add-ons. You can purchase additional add-ons if you wish.

[edit] Statistics

The Web Pro + pack includes AWStats as the graphical interface to view the visits to your website: you will be able to see who visited what, when and how.

Access to the statistics is password protected, in order to guarantee the privacy of this information.

[edit] Mail

Web Pro + will allow you to create up to 1000 mail accounts for your domain with a total of 25GB of server space. You will be able to use that space to store your messages and then access them at any moment. This package will also allow you to create as many alias and forwards as you may need to use.

You will be able to access your mail account by setting up your mail client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Mail, etc...) or by using our Webmail interface, available with any web browser from any Internet connection.

The whole mail service can be managed easily from your Control Panel.

[edit] Antivirus/Antispam

When activated (Default option), the antivirus/antispam mail filtering system will analyse all the emails going into your email accounts before they are delivered to the mailbox.

There are 2 different versions of this service. The main difference between the Basic (free) and the Pro versions is that the Pro version will give you access to the quarantine area. This quarantine area will behave as an additional mail store that you will be able to access via the Internet to check the latest emails rejected by the filter in case you want to recover any of them.

Also, the Pro version will allow you activate the antivirus and antispam service independently from each other, while on the Basic version, you will only be able to turn the whole system on or off.
