Register DNS servers
This procedure only applies to .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domains
[edit] Introduction
This page lets you register your DNS servers based on your domain with the relevant registry. This would be useful in case you want to manage your own DNS servers (e.g. you have a domain called domain.com and you want to use ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com as your DNS servers for your domain).
| This tool is useful only if you already have your own DNS servers:
This tool will not create DNS servers for your domain, it will only register them with the corresponding registry. |

[edit] Declare a new server
As we mentioned above, this tool will allow you to register an already existing DNS server with the registry so that it can be used with any domain.
In the example, we have a domain domain.com, we have created a DNS server on the IP address 62.193.123.456 and we have created a DNS record for domain.com called ns1 which will point to that IP address. The whole thing is set up and working and we just want to register it to avoid having problems when adding the DNS server to another domain.
The procedure to register it would be:
- Click on >> New

- Fill in the form accordingly:
- Name of the server: subdomain that we want to use for the DNS server
- First IP Address: IP address of the DNS server
Fill in any of the other fields if you plan on having more than one IP address for the DNS server
- Click on >> Save. You will get a screen confirming the registration:

[edit] Modify the server IPs
Once the server has been registered, you will be able to modify it using this tool:

- Just enter the subdomain of the DNS server you are looking for:

- Click on
- Modify the IP address(es) as needed:

- Click on >> Save
