This procedure only applies to .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz domains


[edit] Introduction

This tool allows you to manage the 'domain name change of registrar precedures' protection level. You can modify this option at any time to prevent or authorise these procedures. When your domain is locked any change of Registrar request is automatically rejected by Network Solutions, Inc. In other cases, change of registrar requests follow the normal pocedure (email authorisation is automatically rejected by Network Solutions, Inc.)

[edit] Locking / unlocking your domain

  1. The main screen will tell you whether your domain is locked against transfer:

  2. To change the setting, click on CP_BUTTON_Modify_no_arrows.png
  3. Choose the option you want in the screen:

  4. Click on CP_BUTTON_Save_no_arrows.png
  5. You should get the following screen:
